Elk Panorama

One afternoon when we were taking pictures on the Hall of Mosses trail, an elk came by. At first, the elk was in the distance, and people started going by the elk. We waited for the elk and people to leave so that we could finish taking the pictures that we needed to complete the panorama, but the elk started coming closer. Eventually, the elk stopped at the edge of the trail right in front of the camera to eat some salmonberry. That's when we took the pictures with the elk that we used in this panorama. The elk was probably between 6 - 9 feet (2 - 3 meters) in front of the camera when it was eating. (We were closer than we should have been, and should probably have left before the elk came so close.) After the elk ate some salmonberry, he looked like he wanted to cross the trail, so we backed out of his way and let him cross.
